Did Barcelona have a bad night or are Bayern that good?

Barcelona are not a good side any more. Terrible player and manager recruitment for years and the core players are all well over 30. They've abandoned La Masia and their club has lost its personality. I'm not surprised Bayern tonked them, although 8-2 was a bit excessive

Bayern and Real are not the superpowers they once were. City, Liverpool and Bayern are the top 3 clubs in the world. La Liga has fallen a long way since Messi v Ronaldo in their pomp, none more so than Barca.

Bayern are much better than both Liverpool and City.

At least it looks guaranteed that this years final will be better than last years dross of a final.

Dont know if Klopp would go but Barca being interested in him makes sense.

So, according to the many headlines ( "rotten to the core" ) was one I particularly liked, it would appear the media think Barcelona are now finished as a club, and I assume will end up in second or third tier leagues ?

Ridiculous reaction to one game. Exactly the same response when we lost a group game to Barca in 18/19 ( you know the year we got to the final ) and again when getting beat 7-2 by Bayern this year.

If you think they won't be back you are dreamland.

They'll be back, but the point is that their decline has been steady for years now and they've wholeheartedly failed to recruit properly to halt the slide.

This isn't a one off though, the warning signs have been there ever since they lost 4-0 to PSG.
