We are in talks with him re a contract and could be done quite quickly.
Dont shoot the messenger as iv no way of verifying the source but it would be a decent addition if true.

He's got great balance and pace and imo is a better footballer than Dan James. Worth noting everyone is sh!t for Scotland.
But the way he downed tools last season was not cool.
I don't see this transfer happening though.

He is basically a PL quality version of James. I like Fraser. His form last season can be explained by his fall out with Howe big for the prior 18 months he passed (for me) the stats test and eye test. One of the chief best chance creators in the PL and Europe for those 18 months

*but for the prior
His form for Bournemouth actually reminded me of Mane at Southampton. A player who is clearly productive, putting up stats that is actually quite rare for wingers to put up at a club where Bournemouth/Southampton are in the league

Madness. He is not good enough by a long distance, he was terrible last season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And he was excellent the year before.
I'm sure that, with your deep tactical understanding of the game, you can tell us all why that might have been.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The season before was a lucky one for him personally. He's just not very good.
One constant is how schite he is for Scotland.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
so he got 14 assists - 2nd only to hazard - and a total of 21 goal contributions (top 10 in the league), all whilst playing for bournemouth, just through luck? ok then.
and everyone's schite when playing for scotland, it's the main reason that scotland are schite.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well he hasn't done it since and never done it before. That season is the outlier so yes lucky.

no, but i do have lumbago.
the other way of looking at fraser's career is that he had been improving with each season he spent in the PL - until this year, when injuries/contract disputes led to a big dropoff. i wouldn't bet on him hitting the heights of last season again, but equally, if fit, i'd imagine he would improve on this season if he moved to a bigger club with a better strikeforce.
and to be clear, i'd take him, on a free, as an upgrade on mata/james/lingard/pereira, not as a sancho alternative.
anyway, the discussion is, as far as i know, irrelevant, because i don't think we have been linked with him, and the OP has got confused.

He could be a shrewd signing. But there are plenty of examples of PL players that have been at best average, with the exception of having one great season. You can't completely ignore that it could be the case with Fraser. Either way, we don't need another left winger/forward.

Weren't we rumoured to be in for Fraser last summer for about £40m?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal were heavily linked with him (and laughed at for potentially signing him)
