as folk have said ultimately just not technically good enough for us. He did get chances under SG but unfortunately came up short.

He Should stand out at League 1 level down south and will probs step up to the championship well enough.

I suspect that’s where he will find his level.

Great attitude and fitness. Should have a rewarding career down south.Wish him nothing but success👍

He earned a chance after his loans that he never got. Good signing for Hull.

I suspect we might see him back in a few years.

I hope we are working on a creative central midfielder but we are probably needing to free up money first .

"I don’t think Barker will be leaving but I agree with regard to the other two. I’m sure Jamie Murphy will be off too."

Aye I don't see him leaving either, sadly, but he's nowhere near good enough. Another Mark Allen dud.

He'll do well in league one again. Don't think he'd have made it even if he got a proper go. But if Jones Murphy and Barker can be moved and wages used on a mid that could get a game it'll be decent work.

And leave us with Kennedy and Middleton as our wide options from the bench?

We would need a winger on loan.

Unfair comparisons to the two James from Hamilton didn't help him.

He's a limited footballer but great work ethic so will do well in league 1 down south. Surprised Hibs didn't try get him permanently or did they?

Perhaps. But they're not the answer anyway.

Kai Kennedy wont be near the first team squad any time soon.

Never got a proper chance for us. Would’ve been the type of goal scoring midfielder to bring on against teams like Livingston for Kamara or Jack but Gerrard would rather his two deep cms.

Was never going to be given a chance by Gerrard so all the best to him
