"Well, my dream was always always to play for what I consider the best team on the planet, I grew up watching Barcelona and love the way they play. I found it difficult to start with over in Italy, I was young and didn't have the confidence of my manager so went over Spain I loved it but knew the club wasn't big enough for me.
Liverpool eventually come calling and of course everyone knows about them, but they struggled to consistently win the big trophies and the league...25yrs and counting, never going to happen with CFC and Utd plus new boys City all way ahead; but it was step up and their manager "Brodge" I think he's called played football the right way...and if I do well then maybe Barca "may" come calling!
Eventually I established myself as probably their best player alongside Gerrard, it was great fun and I loved Anfield. Playing with Gerrard, Sterling etc was a dream...we came so close to winning the prem it was agony but I knew I wanted Spain, as it happens Gerrard slipped and the title also slipped away.
Soon Barcelona got in touch with me, liverpool knew nothing about it but I told Barcelona yes...I'm yours. Brodge left and in came Klopp, my mind was made up anyway, I am not waiting for Klopp to rebuild...I mean, why is he going to be different...Messi is waiting that's all I wanted.
Eventually I got my wish and left liverpool after one of my best seasons and was ecstatic to be paraded at camp nou. My dreams were realised.....I was a Barcelona player; it was a disaster!!! Why oh why....I didn't know it but Barcelona were a mess, an ageing team and I couldn't fit in...at liverpool it all went through me; here at barca it was messi...Messi or suarez, pzzd me off no end. I lost confidence at to make matters worse the club I left liverpool were doing the business, Europa final in klopps first season then finished in CL places.
As time progressed the barca crowd booed me...fk u I thought, never happened at liverpool they cheered me I loved it looking back. Eventually I left to go to bayern on loan as I watched liverpool win the Champions League, super cup, club world cup after back to back CL finals....then fk me they won the title; you seriously couldn't make it up...the club I left has become the club I wanted to join, I wanted all those trophies at barca but in truth liverpool were the barca I should have just believed. Messi was a pull but barca were a mess.

Erm. You know Coutinho has won a league title in every season since he left Liverpool? And has also won a domestic double twice? And is also playing in a Champions League final tomorrow?
