I like what I am hearing from Jose

https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/mourinho-praises-levy-for-amazing-tottenham-signings/1khlor2o2qet416wmxjtik61oh

At long last we seem to have the Chairman and Manager singing from the same hymn sheet. Spending within our means. Running the club properly.

Astute signings, none of these fancy dan expensive overhyped signings, that invariably fail. Just good commonsense battle-hardened Prem players who can cut it at this level. Probably one or two more of these kind of signings to come in. Back up striker to Harry, and then the squad will be set. Ready for a push on all fronts.

I like what I am seeing.

Daniel and Jose, a real team, about to bring the good time back to WHL.

Cannot believe my club has so many negative supporters. Definitely the most negative on the board.

Lots to look forward to, and all you get is our supporters praising a very average Arsenal squad. Unbelievably.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Forgive me for laughing at the glaring irony of this post! Rewind 8-10 months Sandy and I think you'll find most of us were happy with Poch and happy with the club. We were going through a blip, sure but for the most part no one was clamouring for change. I mean, we'd just got to a CL final for the first time in our history so any negativity would have been absurd, right? Take your own advice. You were whinging for ages about Poch despite how far he'd taken us so don't start preaching to the rest of us now you've got your way. You wrote the damn book on negativity.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry fella, I was not happy with Pochettino and the results a longtime before the CL final The performances and results were poor for months. Getting to the CL was pure luck, Spurs should have gone out on the group stages, but for Inter messing up their home game, and Barca playing a weakened side. I have never been ultra negative like lots on the board but I was not happy with what was going on under Pochettino, everybody was on easy street, and something had to change. Thankfully that era is now done, and we can now move on and give the manager and team 100 oer cent support.

Chelsea buying Havertz for 90 mil. Just depressing seeing these clubs buy all these quality players, whilst we are feeding off free goal keeper signings. Get the f** out this club Levy for the love of god.

Chelsea are a chequebook club Don.

Well Seville seem to win plenty of trophies, without becoming a chequebook club.

Don, do you really want Spurs to go down the route of buying trophies. I don`t. Spending £90 million players is simply not sustainable for any club, other than those run by Dodgy Russians, or owned by a State, or being completely financially doped like PSG.

Yep I would mate. This current business model Spurs adopt has see us win sweet f** all. At the end of the day, big clubs win trophies and it’s all about success. If it means seeing Spurs win trophies, id 100% take the Russian oil money route. It’s the only way to be truly successful these days so we might as well join them.

Yes, but this is a discussion about negativity and you've just admitted you were unhappy with Poch way before the CL final which suggests you were sharing your negative comments about Poch alongside our CL run. What's different now? Why can't others criticise Jose if they're not happy yet you're allowed to bleat on about Poch for months on end? It's double standards. Aside from that, I see absolutely no reason for optimism at all. What is it that you've seen, since November, that gives you the kind of encouragement that Jose is the right man? The football has been woeful to watch, we were knocked out of the FA Cup by a club bottom of the league at home and where we did pick up any league points, it was largely down to good fortune or poor opposition finishing. We're now in Europe because Wolves and Sheff Utd blew it, not because we're any good. I'm interested to know what is making you smile about the current set up as from where I'm standing I'm seeing regression, not progression.

The point is there is nothing to be negative about. Results have improved, Spurs secured European football for next season, new players are coming in, and most importantly the new season has not even started yet, and yet supporters are going into full blown negative mode.

Spurs are not in Europe because Wolves and Sheffield United blew it, Spurs are there because they got more points, or at least the same as both. In a league that is what happens. May as well say Spurs blew top four because they had a manager that got the team of to such a bad first three months in the Prem. Jose had been from the start, top four would have been nailed on.

Spurs have some very fine players, and just being negative for negative sake is a complete nonsense. At least wait until the season gets underway before moaning.

You can moan as much as you like, your call, if you want to just follow a team and moan for the whole season, nothing I can do about it. But at least wait until the season actually starts.
