Well, there is some. Mostly just players signing new contracts or contract extensions.
Maddison: New 4-year deal. Good business, one would think.
Vardy: Additional year on his contract, effectively on a 3-year contract now taking him to the age of 36. But with Vardy, it's difficult to know what age really means for him. Plus, I think Rodgers is developing him to be effective without so much pace as well, perhaps trying to develop a Kevin Phillips type instinct, which would serve him well into later career.
Mendy: New deal. This surprises me, if for nothing else the fact that it doesn't suggest he's desperate for first team football. I thought he'd leave. It also suggests that the management don't trust Hamza that much as a Defensive Midfielder. I can understand why.
Chilwell: Loads of suggestion that he's in advanced talks with Chelsea, rumoured for £50m + additional payments + add-ons. Watch this space.
Iheanacho: Seems to be that he can leave. Also seems to be that Rodgers isn't entirely convinced by him, considering how he threw him under the bus post Bournemouth. May be a case of us only bidding for another striker if Iheanacho leaves first. No serious bidders as yet though.
Gray: Linked with Spurs.

It's a little frustrating to see no inward transfer activity, particularly in attacking areas. But if it's a choice between saving our money for a genuinely exceptional signing or buying two more Ayoze Perezes (Perezzes? Peri?) then it's probably a good tactic to keep our powder dry. The theory is that the money is there when they can get the right player(s).

Vards has just signed a new contract- that's very good for us. He is doing rather better than his old friend Slabhead at the moment. It will be interesting to see if there is any truth in his version of the events leading to his arrest.

I mean, on one hand you don't question a direct police account from a developed country. On the other hand, pretty much all of what they're describing from him is well away from being what I would think of as in character for him.

He's signing the contract with his right hand there. Which means he's already doing more with the right side of his body at Chelsea than he ever did at Leicester.

I keep up-to-date with the Transfer Talk on Foxestalk and the worrying thing for me is that we don't even seem to be close to signing anyone. There's the usual rumours but nothing that seems to be concrete or progressing.
Not sure what is going on, some suggestions that we don't have any money to spend due to the training ground and loss of matchday revenue. Also some talk that Rodgers prefers to have a small squad...good luck with that this season The end to last season should be a massive great warning light for the manager and ownership but so far it's very, very quiet.
