Weird how upset people are at seeing women talk about men’s football. I wouldn’t have thought it would be that big a deal.

I’m not going to sit and nod and listen to someone just because they won medals as a player. To me that means bee little, they might talk utter tripe. Just accept you might have to see a few more women on your screens from time to time.

And, to be honest, I don't really care if there are women pundits. I rarely watch Soccer Saturday/pre-match/half time/post match punditry.
Sue Smith, however, is down there with Steve McManaman, Danny Murphy, Chris Sutton, Paul Ince etc as people I wish I would never have to listen to again.

Sue Smith and Clinton Morrison are bankers (and both awful). Micah Richards or Glen Johnson to fill the 3rd spot. Both of them are awful too but think Richards could do ok in time

I agree with DJ here, it's not about race or se. x but about knowledge. If a woman, a robot or a one legged squirrel ever play Prem football then they should be in the running to be a tv pundit/expert. If they haven't played at that level then their views are frankly about as insightful as mine.

Happily talk to whoever at work or in the pub about any subject but unless they have been there and done that their opinions count for diddly

Although tbf Sue Smith burns my ears and eyes so would fit in nicely with the current mob talking sheite on soccer Saturday.

If she represents progress then bring back Big Ron, his combover, sheepskin and highly suspect views. At least Alex Scott sounds like she hasn't just 'got hoome from me holidees in benidorm, went straight doon pit, worked 23 hours for nowt, fingered tut whippet, had potaoo pie and 20 pints a stout'

Probably just shaking things up a bit. Sky are weirdly quite progressive when it comes to diversity considering they’re owned by Rupert Murdoch!
