Absolute and utter shambles. No policy other than an arbitrary number of 20/100,000 which takes no regard whatsoever of any other factors.

How can an economy recover like this, and that’s before you consider the utter mess that is public transport and the conflicting rubbish on worst case scenarios, middles worst case scenarios, no vaccine, get back to work and maybe close down an entire school year if there’s one infection?

And now we have a “lifting” of lockdown in greater Manchester where two families can meet but not in each other’s houses! Farcical.

More and more people will just ignore this garbage.

I live down south and work in public transport. Utter shambles.

Local lockdown basically means you can't come round to mine for a socially distanced barbie but we an both go to the same pub and have a socially distanced pint. Its the lack of consistency that confuses people. At least Nicola is consistent.
