Everyone reporting bid accepted and medical weekend, which will be before international break. I know we kind of knew this was happening, but excellent to get the confirmation from various sources tonight.
Everyone knows I can’t stand Levy and I don’t think that will ever change, but I’ll praise him when he deserves to be praised. Fair play for not only getting one of Jose’s strong targets, but getting him for so bloody cheap. 15 mil is an absolute bargain in today’s market for one of the best Right backs in the league.
I’m not going to sit and rinse Aurier because his attitude has been awesome considering what happened to his brother, but he’s just not good enough and Jose has clearly seen this. Doherty is miles the better full back and I’m bloody happy with this signing I have to say.

I can't find the link now, was an Irish outlet based around the fact Bohemians who get 10% of the deal would miss out due to a swap deal or something. Seen Foyth or Sessegnon mentioned but they may well be players our fans have decided on
What is the deal with Gedson Fernandes? We were after him before allegedly, i wonder if something there might happen like a switch in the loan agreement?

Cinci, what you think ? You think Doc can be a good signing for us? Reading a lot of Wolves fans opinions and a lot of them are gutted at losing him for such a low fee.

One of the few things we did well last season was get Aurier into great crossing positions. Unfortunately he rarely put a decent ball into the box when he got there although he did win alot of corners as he usually hit the first man.
If we can get someone who can cross a ball into those positions next season it will be a good situation.

He doesnt actually put that many crosses in. He was always more likely to underlap the wide forward than overlap and cross. Most of his assists come from him underlapping and getting involved in stuff in the box.

No, he isnt as good as Kyle Walker.
Doherty has been excellent for us. He does have his weaknesses though and our set up plays to his strengths. He is good at pass and move football, good at getting into scoring positions and excellent in the air. He is a decent defender but has a tendency to switch off from time to time and lacks pace, which can see him caught out from time to time.
How successful he will be depends on how Tottenham use him IMO.

Pretty much what Tam says. Loved by us because of where he and we have come from. I wouldn't be convinced if he were in a flat back four to be honest. As for the fee, i dunno really, fees are a shambles these days. If someone asked me how much he was worth i would probably have said 15 million but seems many think he is worth a lot more than that.

Thanks. Yeah, Walker pretty damned hard to beat in a footrace, and seems not to have lost a step yet.
