The demographics of Scotland mean what looks like minority tv is actually well supported

And even if it’s not we should be encouraging women in sport disability in sport and sport for all minority people

Just as we should in all areas of life

If it’s not for you what is on don’t watch, but don’t deny others the right to see it
And don’t whinge it’s not for you and decide that a minority should miss out

Ignorance or bigoted pash with a wee bit jocky xenophobia chucked in for good measure

Duke. I have no issue with minority sports.

But why on earth devote hour upon hour of a minority game on BBC1 Scotland that, does not feature Scotland and that very few people are interested in? I could understand making it the default choice on BBC2 Scotland and let those interested fill their boots.

But to make it the BBC 1 Scotland default, smacks of something else.

England v Pakistan at cricket? All Sunday afternoon ?

I have no issue at all with minority sports, none. I do have an issue however with BBC1 Scotland buying in and showing an minority sport all afternoon that features two countries, neither of which is Scotland.

Because Scottish people are not all ignorant and some appreciate that we cater for minorities

Now it might be on a bit long for you or be on the wrong day

No. As I said earlier I played and enjoyed playing cricket.

The best figures I can see for cricket as a participation sport, in Scotland is less than 1% of the population.

So, WTF would showing a minuscule minority sport (in Scotland) all afternoon on a Sunday featuring 2 countries, neither of which are Scotland, seem like a good idea?
