My beautiful wife passed away yesterday.

I'm broken at the moment due to losing Annita, my wife and soul mate. I'm typing this message through a veil of tears. She meant and will always mean the world to me. If there is anyone on here who has been through this situation please tell me that it get's easier to bear with the passing of time. I have good family and friends around me but she was my everything.

For those of you with a wife or significant other, please give them a special hug and tell them how much you love them, because at this moment I would give anything and everything for one more opportunity to do that with her.

I'm so so sad for you. I lost my missus , suddenly, just over a year ago .
My heart sank reading this and there's nothing I can say except don't be alone at this time . Family, friend or whoever, just please don't be alone. This will help for now .
Be strong my friend

So sorry for your loss.

Stay strong, time makes it easier. I’m lucky enough to not have gone through this yet, but watched friends & family grieve over their significant other and all I can is that for them, each day it gets easier to live with.

Keep tuning into the board and keep yourself busy my friend.

I am very sad to hear your news, Wilko, terribly painful for you and your family. As much as you are hurting, it is because you have loved someone so deeply. Annita completed your life and you completed hers. It is small comfort now, but I hope, in the weeks and months ahead, you will find the courage and strength she gave you. I wish you a long life, Sgt Wilko, keep posting, our LUFC family is with you.

Condolences to you Sgt Wilko.

The only advice I can give you is to be true to yourself in making the most of each day. Everyone has their own way, whether it’s anger, sadness, feeling lost.

You will find your own way in your own time. You can call the Samaritans for someone to talk to. They don’t know you, you can really let loose. It helps.

You will always have that feeling that you should have done just one more thing, that will be the case no matter how much you did.

Also you enjoyed life with her you enjoyed making the sacrifices you did for her, and you’ll miss that. Those sacrifices made you who you are today, I’m sure that’s a better man.

This is what life has given you, the ability to care and make sacrifices, I’m sure you’ll make use of those.

How awful to hear this Wilko. I am so sorry to hear you have lost your beloved wife.

Everyone ahead of me has just about summed it all up. Time is a healer but this is going to take quite a while. You have friends who will support you and, as was previously mentioned, keep yourself occupied.

Regardless of who we follow or support, we are all in it together when such as this happens and we all extend our sincere condolences to you.

Wilko, so sorry to read about your loss!..

Most of the Leeds Board and some outsiders know that I lost my wife a while back, I did what you did and wrote an Article about it, I was thinking at the time is this the right thing to do, but like you I found people coming from all corners replying with things like what I've just read here!..

Its amazing how people come together and give a little support when needed, it might not feel right at the time but I was glad I did it!..

Photos of my wife on my wall, tell her most days that I miss her, tell her everyday that I love her!..

Look after yourself mate, this is a time when Family and Friends come together and give a little strength to help pull through!..

Condolences to you, your Family and friends!.

These comments are beautiful to read. No doubt this season, we shall be at each others throats, but in reality, lifebis about loving each other and ensuring our neighbour is OK.

Wonderful to see.

Sgt - I've thought long and hard about what to say that could help but lacking in true erudition, I decided to leave it to someone who could express true eloquence on your loss.

From Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare

Good Night

Good night.

Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night, till it be morrow.

( You shall be reunited one day and your soul mate is always there in spirit with you)
