Interesting comments, glad we were about to get the PEH deal done. Having watched the Amazon doc it did remind me of how even though Jose didn't start Eriksen when he arrived but when he did bring him on there was a notable uptick in our performances. Granted we all know Eriksen was protecting himself for a massive move which never happened but to be fair to the guy, he never said anything bad about Spurs, he just wanted to try something new.
I still think its asking a lot to expect NDombele to pull a 360 or for GLC & Dele to find form of years past given endless niggling injuries. I would imagine Kane would love Eriksen back.... Their link up play was excellent
Always thought a fully committed & motivated Eriksen would do well under Jose...... He always worked hard (before the contract mess) and his stats (goals & chances created) were up there with the very best.
If there is a chance that Inter would sell I'd hope Spurs would be all over it. I'm usually against going back for former players but I cant help thinking this one could make sense given our need for more creativity
Wonder If Eriksen Has Regrets ?

Don’t think he has regrets, it wasn’t a case of Inter or nothing for him.
His time had definitely come to an end at Spurs, he would’ve ended up somewhere else if it wasn’t Inter.

I don't think he regrets leaving (maybe that he stayed a year longer than he did) but I'm glad he still has positive things to say about the club.
I found it interesting in the doc that Mourinho didn't really seem to try too hard to keep him. As great a player as he can be on his day (and I was a huge fan), he is the type of player mentally, that has stopped us from winning things.

he's past his best. Spurs can do better.

He definitely is past his best... he’s shown that to be the case at Inter..
No way would I take him back... doesn’t work hard enough either... so wouldn’t make a Mourinho team..
We have Lo Celso now..

In terms of distance run per match, Eriksen was almost always ahead of every other player. It's a myth that he doesn't work hard enough.

No Eriksen has no regrets.
He did not like playing at Spurs, thought he was better than that....and who can argue with him?
He may not be happy where he is now, things may not have panned out as hoped...but why onearth would he regret leaving ENIC?

Thought GLC was supposed to be the answer.
Looked good for his first couple of games but then totally fizzled out - looks like he doesn’t want the ball and doesn’t really pull the strings as expected.
Really need him to nail down his role in the midfield. Needs to take some responsibility
