Don't think GLC is a defo starter. Think he's a good player but at this point hasn't shown the physical capabilities (he's injured a lot) to handle the Prem and his stats for the number of games played is poor.

In Jose's mind when both fit I think Dele starts ahead of GLC as a number 10 and I don't think he's convinced anyone (Jose Most importantly) he's a true CM given the number of games played by Winks & Sissoko. He's even less likely to get a game there now with the addition of PEH

I think GLC's role has been deeper than we'd all expected, more of a Modric position than a Fernandes position so he won't get the assists or the penalties, i mean goals, that Fernandes does.

I'd hope that with PEH sitting, GLC will get that bit more freedom to cause problems up the pitch in the same way Eriksen did, leaving the dirtier work to Sisokko/Winks alongside PEH.

Wouldn't class Alli as an automatic starter either, not when he's been off his game for so long.

I'm talking about how I view it. From Mourinho's perspective it'll be different and you can chuck the average Davies in there as an automatic.

Ah fair enough. But I guess when talking about these players it’s only Mourinho’s perspective that matters.

There’s going to be at least one player in the team that isn’t worthy of the status and will keep playing all the time. It’ll infuriate you.

That's already happened with a few, like our full backs, but in Mourinho's defence we haven't got much strength in depth in those areas.

The goat on ITK says we are keen on Benrahma, he never gets anything right so don't expect that to be correct.

I'd probably add Dier to that list as Jose will pick him regardless.
