If Bale is the missing link in that front 3 then it would be a devastating front 3, probably the best in the league!

I would admit I'd be a little bit excited to be getting Bale back, even knowing he might not have the kind of impact we want anymore. But it sounds too good to be true just as the Dybala link was.

I won't get my hopes up. Don't see how Levy would be prepared to splash out that sort of money on wages for someone older and with an injury record, when he's not prepared to go an extra few million on others, unless he's panicking.

You clearly haven't watched him regularly for a significant amount of time.

I would love it for Bale to go back to Spurs and rediscover his love for football, even if it did mean us (Madrid) stumping up half his wages.

Madrid haven't conducted themselves well in the whole affair and it's right that we should be paying the consequences for it. In particular, the decision to pull the plug on the China deal still mystifies me, and Zidane was wrong to publicly wish him out. That said though, the trouble had started much further back and is not a simple story of poor Bale and bad old Madrid.

He'd probably still get injured

If this happens it will solve our LB issues

We have one of the poorest CMs in the EPL..Winks who cant tackle and lacks physicality and Sissoko who has the physicality but the technical attributes of a Conference league player. Between them they struggle to manipulate and pass the ball!!
Hojbjerg is a welcome addition but we need more and we need better, Would any of these 3 get into our rivals(No not Southampton!) midfield. But we expect to be scooping up trophies because magician Mourinho is at the helm
We could bring in Messi,aguero, Levandoski but no midfield , no party.

An looking at the season ahead with huge trepidation.
