It`s a standard start to a Spurs season, an incomplete squad, several players clearly not match fit and others injured.

Did anybody really expect anything else, it has been the same every season for years.

It's a disgrace.

Your schedule up to Christmas is going to be brutal. November/December in particular. You’ll have a run of City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Palace, Liverpool, Leicester and Wolves, with Europa League games likely thrown in. Mourinho will do well to still be in a job by that point.

Spurs would have been better off not getting into the Europa. With the qualifiers it really could fack your season.

The Europa qualifiers are piece of piiiss, it will just be a training session and fitness building for Spurs. The travel is a pain, but nothing major.

The qualifiers themselves aren’t the problem, but it’s the issues it’ll cause Spurs with preparation in a tough schedule to start the season.

I said it at the time and I will say it again Jose was never the right man for Spurs.

I dont doubt his previous achievements 99% of them when he had cash to splash mind but his tactics have never changed. They are boring and negative how anybody can defend them or him just astounds me.

Man U look a hell of a lot better side since he left them even with virtually the same players.

Don and Sandy can do theri best to convince people that he is a "serial winner" but its pure B.S. he is in fact a "serial spender" and when you spend that much money you are going to win things thats fairly logical.

Poch is not the answer despite what he done for us in the past.

We need an up and coming manager who is going to work extremely hard to get the players onside and to develop a system that will get the best out of the players we have and we do have a fair bit of talent.

Thats what Poch was, virtually unknown, not a major name but he worked really hard and turned us into a very good side in turn increasing his own reputation.

Forget the big names they will all want big money, look around for a manager who is hungry for a big chance and will offset our lack of spending power with real hard work and building a great team spirit.

If Levy finds somebody like that we will have a team to be proud of again if he eventually replaces Jose with another "big name" manager then we will be in the same position a year from now.
