Reports of Bale wanting to move on from Real have been making the rounds. He wants a permanent move while Real are willing for that or a loan while also subsidising his wages. He wants his future sorted. He's linked to United as a Sancho alternative as BD aren't willing to budge on their Sancho price and BD believe he'll be worth more next season. Sancho isn't going to cause a fuss if he stays.
I'd take Bale on loan for a year with Real paying half+ of his wages. But a permanent move won't be in our best interests. He is 31 already and I don't think he has many more years left due to the type of player he is plus his injury record. I can understand from his point of wanting his future sorted permanently though.
On Sancho, if we can't get him in this summer, we should sort out the other positions that do need sorting and maybe look at an alternative such as Leon Bailey or Federico Chiesa (or any other players that can fill the right side role).
Our luck hasn't been great with signing players from Dortmund either, with Kagawa and Mkhitaryan not living up to their hype when they did join us. Not saying Sancho will end up the same. Just that if he does with the price BF want, it will be very hard to get it back if he does flop. There's also been reports about him being late to training and he has claimed he has issues waking up in the morning (he has attributed this to a health issue). For the fee and wages, we need him to make the same impact Bruno has made if he comes in. And the level of professionalism expected by the manager and coaches means he'll have to sort out his "health issue".

thomas lemar may be worth a shout and any move would be cut price given his time in madrid.

Hasn't he been quite poor there? Could be a decent player to loan with an option to buy.

If we can get a motivated Bale on a season long loan, I'm all for it. I guess that particular variable is down to the club to decide.

He's not match fit. Could end up being like Falcao

I don't think he's the type of option who'd be a good fit on the right. His best performances for Atleti and especially Monaco have arguably come from the left side playing as a left interior midfielder where he can operate in the left half-space which isn't what we're looking for or need from a new signing.

Poor sod must be in such a predicament. What on earth is he going to do if he doesn't land another 50M or 60M?

Bale shouldn't be anywhere near our club - he'd be a cross between Falcao and Sanchez - and a major disruption to everything Ole's trying to accomplish. Sure - he could be brilliant, but we just don't need his baggage.
