Everton loss - blessing in disguise

With the madness going on last night with Daniel Levy and CO sorting out deals for both Gareth Bale and Reguilón, plus strong rumours from the ever reliable Ally Gold that Spurs ain’t finished in the market and supposedly still after a striker, even if we buy these guys, does anyone think that horrendous performance and loss against Everton was the final kick up the a** Levy needed ? Surely this result has been a huge influence in Spurs trying to tie these deals up incredibly quick, which is so unlike Spurs and Levy. These are the standard of players I have been crying out for all these years. 2 real top additions if they go through and ones that would immediately strengthen us. Please for the love of god, don’t let us down with this Levy.

Dragon on SC we are looking to loan a midfielder who has damaged us in the past. He has ruled out Coutinho
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Coutinho is a baller so that rules him out .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Michael Ballack coming out of retirement.

Bale might help(who knows. Anyone seen him play much recently??).
Only our fans can get excited about a 31yr old fan favourite who left 7 yrs ago and Who has barely played much recently. He had pace to burn then. Now??
Sorting out the Winks , Sissoko , half fit Ndombele Conundrum is a far bigger issue in my opinion.

We already have guys that can do damage up front but when you have footballing stiffs providing scraps to feed off I doubt Bale will be much help.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks Mr positive. Tell you what, lets just do nothing and have an Everton performance every week till we are relegated.

Yes, Bale won`t stop the opposition walking through our midfield like a hot knife through butter. We also need another CM player, preferably a top class baller who can see a pass and play in tight areas.

He's not wrong though...... Bale will make Spurs better (Moura is crap) and we MUST get GLC fit and Ndombele's head outta his ar5se..... if we cant, sell and replace him. We cannot keep this BS narrative going that 60mln quid footballers need 18 months to get up to speed. He's moving from France FFS (not Outta Mongolia)....Spurs have been on the decline for 2 years.... it needs to be addressed sharpish

Lets do what right as opposed to keep doing the same rubbish thats got us no where for so long.
Bet you cant tell me how good he is these days cause you haven't seen him play as he is either injured or benched.
He might do well no doubt but for me not our priority.

How the hell is signing class players like Reguilón and Bale not doing right ? if anything, Levy is finally doing right and bringing In the standard of quality needed to win trophies, instead of a bunch of players with potential. Can’t believe any Spurs fan would be negative us bringing back a still top class Bale, incredible

You cant please all of the people all of the time. Sadly for Spurs we have a lot of fans who cant be pleased ever.

If Utd had snapped up Bale on a free or a loan and then then tore the league apart, the same fans would be asking why Levy didn't do this deal for a Spurs legend?

Never mentioned anything about Reguilon
Am all for Bale coming back if he can still produce the performances he is known for. He has barely played recently and when he has he has been prone to injury. There are also reports coming out of Spain the demands of the EPL might be too much for him. I am right to have reservations and after watching the shaite of a midfield on Sunday I would rather we addressed that with first class additions there.
The keane return turned out great I guess, so heyho.

Whatever mate. Trust me, If there’s anyone on this forum to bash Levy with a stick over a transfer, then it’s me. Gareth Bale signing is 100% a statement of intent and a massive coup. He is still a quality player and you will be eating these words in the coming months trust me.
