Levy Redeemed?

If the Reguilon and Bale deals go through as is looking increasingly likely, and we get in a fairly decent striker, will Levy sceptics (I've become one) get off his back and divert their demands towards Mourinho?

Doherty
Hart
Hojbjerg
Reguilon
Bale
New Striker

Is a very impressive window and I personally would have to lay off Daniel Levy for this season and next if that materialises, especially considering we spent over £100m last season.

Don will still find a way to say something anti-Semitic about him

Levy can only redeem himself by firing Mourinho and himself afterwards.

Would have thought that one of the sweeteners in the Bale deal was a promise of first dibs on Kane next summer. There has to be a reason why negotiations have, so far, gone so smoothly.

If this double deal for Bale and Reguilon goes through
then I would not be surprised if Kane is nailed on to go to Real Madrid in 2021. Bale will become permanent and the buy back clause for Reguilon will be dropped.

and what are the lottery numbers this weekend?

Talk of a permanent free transfer now.

That could make sense, Bale has 2 years left of a rumoured 500K a week deal, so that is around 52m at Spanish tax rates (which are higher than the UK).

So take Bale for free, pay him a 20m signing on fee, and give him a 3 year deal on 200K a week, which is another 31m in wages. So Bale gets close to the value of his Madrid contract (taking into account a 1 year longer contract and higher take home pay in the UK)

Levy will see all the angles on this deal and will be schooling RM in negotiations, to get the best deal possible. They are so desperate to get rid and Bale has stated where he wants to be that we are very well placed to have RM over a barrel on the terms...a bit of pay back for the "special relationship" that yielded nothing special for Spurs.

If these deals go through, it will probably mean a top player is leaving to pay for it all, if not this summer then next, it`s how Levy operates, you know it and I know it. Levy spending next summers Kane money a year early.

Harry Kane might be on borrowed time as a Spur?
