The young Polish winger has finally signed on a four-year deal. Based on what I saw when he turned out for Poland recently he is very much the type of player required. Quick, tricky and keen to take on his man. If Jordan Ibe also signs then suddenly we will have a bit of threat in wide areas where we have looked bereft of ideas.
Lawrence, Waghorn and Holmes will hopefully also be available soon and if as rumoured we are likely to sign a new striker I think the balance of the team will be hugely better. We have no shortage of defensive midfielders and surely Rooney will be effective if he finally has some options to pass to.
Onwards and upwards etc.

A 4 year contract is good if the player does well, or it could be a millstone type Jozefzoon signing.
Why get ibe, who has done the square root of eff all since the season he was here? Why not get Johnny Russell back?
I don't like the way things are going at our club, hope I'm wrong.
Am I right in saying Paul Clement was sacked when we were 5th?

I'd be interested to know what the situation is with Jozefzoon. Clearly a talented player who, for what ever reason has never "done it" here. He has no squad number which either indicates he's on his way out - or it's a 'kick up the backside'. Anyway, the point is it would be interesting to see how we would fare with Jozefzoon / Ibe on one wing & Jozwiak on the other......

I doubt very much we’ll see Ibe he could have been an option instead of Jozwiak, For all we know he may never have been in the frame.
