This window is far from over just yet and even if we don’t bring in anyone else we will be fine.
It’s easy to forget that since Bruno joined we picked up more points than anyone else last season. Now I get that’s down to Liverpool slowing up cos they had already won and City probably slowing up as they know it was out of reach but I’m still confident that we are currently far better than at least 16 teams in this league.
I’d have liked Reguilon, I think he would have been a smart signing however I’m glad we didn’t agree to that small club mentality deal.
I’m glad we are not in for Bale. He may burn it up at Spurs but I doubt he’d worked out here and could not see Real paying 50% of his wage for a move to United.
I still think we’ll get one or two more good players in but we need to chill.
We need a few more quality additions to really compete but we are in the best position squad wise since SAF left imo.
Fans need to relax

People believe what they want to believe.
Dortmund say there has been no contact re Sanchi, nah. The guy is fibbing.
Hoeness of Bayern (guilty of tax fraud) says we MAY have spoken with thiago. Its happening.
Ridiculous

Did they? Or did they hire the best sporting directors in the game?

You can train one to be too, someone that’s been at the club for ages
Someone that’ll become like marina at Chelsea

I don’t know how she managed to squeeze 163m out of real for a player on the last year of his contract

They’ve been heavily involved in the decision making processes that have lead to these men going to the club. Picking the right men for the job and having an approach that everyone in the club is on board with.
Liverpool’s owners have used their experience with the money ball method in baseball to radically change Liverpool’s scouting system. It’s regarded as the most advanced analytics team in football. Michael Edwards wasn’t just the best director at football and was appointed the job, he was an assistant of Comolli and worked his way up through the club.
It’s clearly untrue to suggest their owners don’t know how to squeeze the sporting potential out of the club.

The fans need to protest and then riot on the streets. We need our American fans to take over Glazer places with their right to bare arms.

You sound like the orange clown there. It isn’t a good sound.

That's racist. Orange lives matter

The BBC certainly think so, that's why Gary Lineker is their highest earner.

Exactly, this is where the glazers fail. Better sporting directors would see us do better on the pitch in the long run.
City didn’t get it right the first time, but they hired somebody else who did.
The glazers need to fire Ed, who can’t seem to recruit well enough for us to compete.

They won the league before Soriano and Bergistran went to the club. They were brought in as they were making plans, years in advance, to bring Pep to the club. It wasn’t due to not getting it right, Garry Cook resigned over allegations of an email mocking Onouah’s mum’s cancer.
The idea that they just appointed good directors and that was it is reductive. They’ve had carefully planned strategies to make City successful on the pitch.
I agree with you that the Glazer’s need to do those things, but it’s not just as simple as that when they clearly lack the vision, knowledge and ruthlessness to make the decisions needed for us to get near fulfilling our on pitch potential.
It’s frankly daft to question whether City or Liverpool’s owners have done this when you look at how they’re run.
