It really isn't. Ndombele had one good season. One!! There is a reason why other big clubs didn't go for him. Man City went for Rhodri, Utd later went for Bruno, Barca had De Jong, Liverpool were already stacked in that position, Chelsea had Juninho and Kante.
We were just foolish enough to meet Lyon demands which now look very excessive. There is talk of Aoaur leaving for £40m and he is way better.
Jose didn't have to convince Bale to join. He loves us. Jose convincing Reg to sign is impressive. Would he have signed for Poch? Who knows....

End of day if you are professional footballer who wants to win things and you know Poch and Jose are interested, 9 out 10 players would pick Jose everytime because of his track record. Simple.

Yeah I'm sure clubs like psg and real Madrid, who it is well documented were interested in Tanguy, couldn't have pulled that kind of money together

PSG were hungstrung by FFP hence why they brought that rat from Utd on a free. Last summer Real spent £100m on Hazard and a further £200m on other players. If Real were really interested in TN they would have brought him. They probably chose not because he only had ONE good season.

Can't give Mourinho the credit until we see what he can do with this new looking team. And I certainly wouldn't compare what he is doing in the windows to what Poch did, when we know how much Levy has a say, and was busy concentrating on funding the stadium when Poch was here.
