One year loan with no fee and we cover 40% of his wages. Decent. After a year Bale will have 1 year on his Real Contract. Wonder what happens then?

This.

Surprised it’s not a two year loan.

Real probably hoping Bale has a great season so they can negotiate a better deal or sell to us after this season.

Also, this as a stat re Reguilon:

The Spaniard completed more dribbles in La Liga last season (49) than Davies has managed in his entire 129-game Premier League career at Spurs (45).

Also if he gets injured and is not up to scratch we can cut our ties. Seems sensible for both us and Real.

Surely we’ll have some sort of first refusal clause or something at the end of the loan deal? You’d hope anyway.
