I can't remember hearing of any other than Sanchez's £850k p/w at Man United.

Well the likes of Sanchez were on £500k a week so this is nothing new. Just another £150k a week more for Bale.

According to reports published a couple of years ago, when all things were added it rose to over 100M a year, so roughly 2M/week - although that might just have been a bit of trademark shidt-stirring by the Madrid media.
