That was nothing short of disgraceful

tonight, and but for a major stroke of luck, Spurs would have been on the end of probably the worse result in their near on 140 year old history. Surely Bale and the new left back coming in have to give the incumbent players a big kick up the arsssse. I see none of our current players busting a gut to play for the shirt.

I still see no urgency, players just strolling about, no movement in any part of the pitch. Yes Spurs have some truely Championship level players in Davies, Sissoko and Dier, but they also have Kane, Son, Bergwijn etc, and none of those showed any kind or urgency to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. They won`t get lucky like this every match. Kane looks completely disinterested and out of touch most of the time. Two Internationals and now two games for Spurs, has he actually had a shot in those four games?

And FFS how many more set piece goals are they going to concede. I called it at half-time, that Plodiv would score a set piece goal second half, it is so inevitable.

It seems how players just do not learn. They talk the talk, but never actually walk the walk.

Of the new players, I cannot say I am overly impressed with Hojbjerg or Doherty, does he actually offer anything more than Aurier, who is quicker and gets up and down the line faster.

Thank goodness Bale and the new Real Madrid full back are on the way to give this team such much needed impetus and pace.

We go again, but really this team do need to up the pace of their game if they are go much further.

Oh and welcome back ACE.

If the players dont run and put in a shift, thats down to the manager. He needs to weed that out. It was pants against Everton, it was pants today, thats the manager, not the players. I dont believe 11 players collectively decide to stroll around the park.

Well I'm not going to knock opinions. It this isn't for me. I wouldn't be able to take this forever.

My ST will be cancelled if it carries on. I'd rather watch local football and give back to the community. Supporting this corporate shet is turning me bitter.

You really need to realise that football isn't always pretty and innocent.
Its a tough business. Confidence is a damn fine thing in football.
This team with more confidence and more gelling as a unit will be good.
Spurs have been in top 4 for at least 5 years, bar the last season which was marred with the sacking and the pandemic (plus 5 sub rule which suited some!).

Remember the stage of fitness the team is at, where they played and the team is low in confidence as a unit.
Once the team will say the shirt with the name BALE on it, in the dressing room, it will be different!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes I get confidence is a big thing, but that does not excuse players like Dier just plodding out of defence with the ball, then lumping it up the field to nobody in particular. It does not excuse Kane or Son look like they cannot be bothered.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll give you that because I am not a fan and even if Jose was the greatest manager in the history of football, you don't turn a midfielder in a good CB overnight!
It takes years of experience playing as CB to learn that position

Jose will soon realise when a crafty forward player will do Dier proper and good, and Jose will get a slap on his face for his blind faith in this guy in this position!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Dier is actually a CB that was converted into a midfielder, not the other way round.

Even though I am prepared to give Bale a month to settle , if he starts off with a bang it would be a great tonic to the team right now. Hopefully he signs in time for Sunday and comes off the bench or something.

We need a top class centre half, for me Dier and Sanchez are too inconsistent and Toby won`t last forever

Kane and Son are the least of our problems Sandy. It’s strange that it’s our two best players you constantly dig out the most

I said this yesterday when some of you were creaming your pants at the new signings. Mourinho will run your side into the ground, berate them to the media and leave them psychologically damaged by the time he's put out of his misery. You just better hope he's gone by Christmas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You really are worried Mourinho will be a success at Spurs aren`t you, scared that he will show United what they are missing. And all while you have Ole at the wheel, 25 penalties a season and are dragged up the league by the officials.

We have had a disrupted pre season for all sorts of reasons, maybe they are not fully fit, hence the lethargy.

Kane was also rubbish for England. He needs to seriously up his game, and start not believing all the hype.

not sure it's been mentioned but ANOTHER stonewall penalty not given to us early yesterday when Berwijn taken down right in front of the lino. That would have made all the difference. We are currently a team searching for our first goal, first win and the confidence that comes from that. It didnt help.

I think that our schedule is in their mind and in this respect I blame jose. hes moaned about it too much and they players played like they were saving themselves for the weekend.

admittedly we now play sunday(a) tuesday(a) Thursday(in Macedonia) Sunday (h) which is just a joke of a schedule.
