Bale ... McCormack ...

In the news today ... Gareth Bale returns to Spurs ... Ross McCormack joins Aldershot Town.

I'm torn by which transfer generates the greatest mirth.

😁💙

Legendary B u 1l 5 h1 t🤣

Easily one the worst ever signings in the history of our club. Just picturing Brucie driving to his house just to take photo's of that lazy losers mighty gates that imprisoned him is truely mind-boggling🤪🤣

Just a lazy fat drunk.

Shame McContract was brilliant for us

Shame he has let himself go. Just turned 34

A player like McCormack who never relied on pace should still be playing championship football.

Sad to hear this. He scored the last time I got to Elland Road, against Sheffield Wednesday. An intelligent and talented footballer back then.

Amazing how one player can have totally different mindset for different clubs. He was fantastic for Leeds

Just shows that when a player is settled and happy and playing well, that counts for a lot. Big money transfers carry a lot of risk with them. There may be an immediate financial pay-off for the player, but if it doesn't work out, they can end up in a spiral of poor deals and diminishing opportunities. It would be interesting to hear from McCormack how he reflects on the last six years.

Similar pedigree to Snodgrass, completely different character.
