I did post something about this in the Showcase thread. In the actual Showcase it showed much anticipated gameplay. and with all the hype around those games and PS5 launch. the PS+ deal almost passed unnoticed.
But watching through it again, anyone getting a PS5 has got one hell of great deal, Even for those already with a subscription, there are some real big hitters, that have never made it to PS+.

I had my release day PS4 for years without issue until I decided to get a Pro a year or so ago.

Yeah, mt release day PS4 never gave me any issues. I did have a problem with the rubbers on the controller sticks. But got the controller changed and no issue.
To be fair getting hold of a PS5 will be the bigger issue.

Thinking about it a bit more, If you trade in your PS4, the cost of the new system is becomes very cheap.
You will still be able to play the games on the PS5. with the bonus of them probably running better on far more powerful hardware.
Have access to the PS+ deal, and You are into next gen, full of gaming and at a relatively modest cost.
But again the problem at the moment is getting hold of one, Just ask Tika, mind you he spends most the day in bed

I think I never got over the shock of the PS 2 Slim.
But it’s always been me and my mates way.

I’m not fussed about trying to sell my ps4 privately to get a bit more for it, but I’m planning on trading it in this week as I would expect as time goes on the value will go down more and more before the 5 comes out.
Looking at £245 I’ve had as a saved quote for cash value with CEX for my ps4, an extra controller and a few games (some of which are on the ps+ package anyway).
Got a pre-order of the digital edition for £359 due on release day so not too big of a hit on the wallet to upgrade.

It's certainly a nice deal. I Iike the 2 different ways the 2 companies are taking. At the moment for me GamePass has almost no value ( I accept this will change over the next 12 months or so) but this looks good to me as I missed some of those.

Only problems I've had with consoles is with the disk drive.
Get the digital version and thays not going to be a problem
