Agree! He also tried to give the game away twice in the second half: once with his ridiculous leaping/ tumbling/ fumbling act, and then there was the awful clearance from his 18 yard line directly to a WHU player, fortunately the player in question didn't control the ball very well otherwise a simple lob would have been a goal! He is totally unable to take command of his own goal area. Many have expressed concern about this guy.

Yeah, to be honest watching Martinez I had hoped he had worked hard to improve this side of his game - but no sign so far ...

OP. The answer is YES 100%. Don’t believe what DJ says . We could’ve got more than £20m for Leno if we’d marketed him properly. Leno is definitely the inferior keeper. Useless on crosses and it’s no coincidence that our defence looked the worst it’s been since before Leno’s injury.

We have to look to the future. Emi has gone. No amount of looking back and 'I told you so' is going to bring him back.

It is now important that we buy a backup keeper ready to take over. Raya should be priority not the Icelandic bloke. Arteta can't allow someone so weak in the air to continue against sides who will exploit this tactic.

Butland should be an option if we cannot get Raya.

What you said just doesn't make sense, you said he's an inferior goalkeeper who earns £100K a week but yet you think a club would want to buy him for more and give him a payrise on top of that.

I hate that Martinez went but it was his choice, he wants to play week in week out, also if we get our targets in midfield it would've been worth it.

Don't expect common sense when talking to the mob, PP. They think they are auditioning for AFTV.
