Looking forward to this game, and tbh quite happy Pulisic is out; if you go back to the last time we played CFC it was 4-1 then Pulisic came on and it ended 5-3. He imo is their key player and could make Werner tick.
Our record at SB the last few seasons is patchy, won lost and drawn and the 1-2 there last season was nervy towards the end if I recall.
However, it's a new season and for this game I feel it's come to early for cfc, they have players missing and not enough time to integrate those that will play. For us I feel leeds will have focused the defensive minds and we have had a full week to iron out those wrinkles...I will be amazed if we perform anything like we did defensively Vs Leeds.
It all points to a Liverpool win and add in no home crowd plus Thiago availability I just can't see a chelsea win at all. I'd say 0-3 to liverpool but obviously could be way out, could be 4 or 5

Gomez shouldn't be out of position when we are defending. He is important against the pace of Werner.
I think Chelsea will play Giroud with Werner off him to make runs between our rb and rob.
