Not much to elaborate on from the title. In my opinion, people spend far too much time whining about our defense and ignoring the glaring deficiencies we have in pretty much every facet of our attacking play. The passing and build-up play is sloppy. The link-up play is really slow. Static movement from the front line, other than Aubameyang. Midfielders not making runs off the ball to provide options and overloads. Next to no goal threat from our midfielders. We're painfully mediocre. Around the Covid break last season, we ranked something like 17th or 18th in the league for chances created. We simply have perhaps the most efficient striker in the league in Aubameyang and this makes the difference over mid-table and lower table sides.
I can understand leaving Ozil out against some of the better sides whose workrate and intensity would swamp us and he becomes a liability. But for goodness sakes, matches against teams like West Ham are the kinds of matches Ozil should be playing. It's unacceptable to have a guy cleaning up £350 a week in wages and he's not playing any part in the team. Ozil has been frozen out for so long, nobody seems to even remember that he's still a gifted footballer who can bring coherence and fluidity, creativity and a cutting-edge to our attacking play.
If we're not going to get some Chinese or Saudi team to get him off our wage bill, then we have to actually utilize his qualities. It has become a ridiculous, inexplicable situation and I'm really surprised by how little media time it is getting.

Absolutely beyond belief that anybody could want Ozil back in the team in any level, he is utterly useless.

As I already said which you decided to ignore, all the negativity and toxicity Ozil has caused with his attitude and effort levels has to be factored in and that's been going on for at least 3 years now.
I would happily not have had his one good season and never had him at the club, there are so many players that would have been significantly better for us, consistently throughout their would have been Arsenal career.

No chance, Arteta's strict on what he wants and Ozil won't change his style of play or attitude at this stage of his career. If he'll bench Laca and Pepe for young players when their attitude isn't even bad then he's not going to pander to Ozil. Some players would get a siege mentality in the situation but I reckon all he cares about now is getting his wages and then leaving.
