city v burnley live

Good evening pop pickers
And welcome to the first home game of the season,
We are live on BBC @ 6-45
Don't forget to watch in HD

Will be nice not to be 3 minutes behind everyone else๐Ÿคฃ

Hopefully I won't fall sleep due to sitting in the comfort of the chair ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

No Evens as on his 2nd game ban, injured Morgan, Ricardo
Possibly for sale grey

I'm expecting the same starting team as last week as I don't think maddison is fully match fit,

Castagne and Ricardo
Are going to rip teams apart ๐Ÿ˜Š

An entertaining match and another good performance...at least in an attacking sense. Tielemans was superb, like his old self. Barnes was excellent, looked a threat every time he went forward. Praet put in another good showing too. Both full backs were excellent in overlapping and getting balls into the box.

Defensively was a bit of a horror show at times. We looked vulnerable every time they crossed into the box. You can see why Ndidi was moved from CB to DCM at a young age, he looked very uncomfortable. Justin needs to improve with his defending at the far post.

Overall another good win. So far we don't seem to be showing any signs of a hangover from last season. Top of the league with one fit CB, no left footed full backs, Ricardo still injured and Ünder and possibly Fofana to come in. A promising start

I thought Justin was a left back
At Luton?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think he was their RB when they got promoted from League 2 but was switched to LB when Jack Stacey (now at Bournemouth) came through. I think he has looked better at LB but some of his defending in the air is very shaky.

I'd generally agree with that foxello
Not to sure about the entertaining but definitely not boring ๐Ÿคฃ

Considering our injury problems and lack of signings
I wasn't looking forward to the first few game

But this game gives some hope
Experienced Premier team that always parks the bus, gets in your face and plays on counter

Last year I thing we would have lost this one

Shows we are leaning how to break these teams down
Castagne is making a Hugh difference

On wards and up wards

Bring on the Arsenal ๐Ÿ˜Š

I've mentioned before that Justin will cost us goals
Part of his lack of experience and he will learn quickly
Even with that it funny that I've not missed chilwell at left back ๐Ÿ™„

When will we sign little Wes?

Random thought; if it at some point we play Ricardo, Castagne and Justin in the same team, I think it'll be the first time we've played three right backs since Gary Megson did it away to Villa in the League Cup back in 2007. He was clearly a man ahead of his time
