Third best squad in the league

Imo with Reguillon and Bale added we are at least on par if not slightly ahead of United, Chelsea and Arsenal in terms of our squad.

Son and Kane once again showed what quality they have. Add Bale to the mix and that's arguably as good a front three around. The backup attackers are a high standard too. Dele and Bergwijn have real quality whilst Lamela and Moura are very useful options off the bench.

Lo Celso and and Ndombele are seriously talented footballers who are so comfortable on the ball. Was great to see ndombele set up the first goal yesterday. I expect plenty more like that from him.

With Reguillon, I think we've got a gem. If Doherty can replicate his Wolves form that's an exciting combination down the flanks.

CDM is a worry, hopefully Hoijbjerg can settle in there. The main weakness is CB, but if you compare our options to our rivals they're all pretty poor.

I don't think we should get too excited based on yesterday because there were still plenty of issues, but I am very pleased our squad is starting to take shape.

Add a CB and backup striker and we have a very well balanced squad.

Liverpool don`t have a great squad, they have a good first XI, but any serious injury to VVD or one of their front three, and their squad don`t look that good. Proved that in the domestic cups last season, when they had to rotate, and got knocked out early doors in both cup competitions.

Probably the best midfield depth in the premier League.

Centre back you might be right, an injury to VVD would be problematic but Fabinho is brilliant there. We have just signed Jota as cover for the front 3.

Also we've signed players that are exceptionally durable hence the lack of injuries. We aren't relying on players with the injury record of Kane or Bale.

You signed the OX, he used to be a permanent sicknote.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He still is but we have no reliance on him...

Chelsea's new signings do look good on paper and I think they will over time prove good signings, but I think this year they will need time to settle.

Liverpool's back up CB is as good if not better than any that Spurs start, for me.

If you're a team that regularly start Ben Davies and Eric Dier then you're not in the top three squads in the league.

To be fair Ben Davies won’t be a regular because we have just signed one of the best left backs in Europe in Reguilon. Dier I totally agree though, we need a new centre back

Don't you think it's a bit too soon for these articles?

Bale is a sicknote and won't be available to play for probably the next 4 weeks.

Kane is usually a no show for the first month of the season, he is also a sicknote and more concerned about HIS stats than the team but he'll swear on his daughter's life that isn't true.

Son is improving year on year & if anything, the team should be built around him with the 2 egos in support. That won't happen though which is a pity.

Ndombele is a very good player, when he can be bothered to turn up (which doesn't appear to be very often).

Dele, where do you start? He's now living off the reputation he built up in his first 2 years with Spurs and still believes the hype.

Lloris, probably only the 5th (possibly even 6th) best keeper in the league with a less than solid line in front of him, is the reason Spurs missed out on CL this year.

You need your new signings to gel pretty quickly and get up to speed with the PL and then put together a string of results against the other top half teams before proclaiming to have the 3rd best squad in the league.

No, Kane so bothered about his stats, he only set up 4 of Son’s goals yesterday literally the worse post I have seen in Ja606 history

I can tell you now that EVERY PL team bar City, would lose that cup match if their entire matchday squad is unavailable due to them playing in another competition on another continent and they had to field the youth team & some fringe squad players.

I wonder how spurs would look with their entire match day squad unavailable. I'd suggest they'd fare a lot worse.

I know you'll disagree with this but each to their own.

I'm really surprised a team like Barca have not put a bid in for Son? If that boy was English he would Be a 100 million pound transfer

FFS is that the only thing you can find falt with in the entire comment?

Truth hurts so you dismiss the entire thing out of hand because I point out a character flaw in your beloved Kane.

https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/kane-swears-on-daughter-s-life-he-scored-against-stoke-but-replay-tells-different-story

As for worst post you've seen, I have to assume you've never seen any of more spurs posts.

Also if the entire post is incorrect then you mustn't rate Son very highly.

Your defence is poor to be honest.

Reguillon is a good signing. RB and CB is suspect for you lot to say the least. Also your CM looks light - a lot probably depends how NDombele turns out I guess.

Don’t mean to put a dampener but:

Reggie and bale - not played for us yet so who knows

Deli - not had a decent game for ages

Li Celso and Ndombele- can only play 45 mins

Still no back up striker

Still playing Dier as cb

Still only had two decent games since mourinho arrived

Let’s keep things in the realms of reality 👍
