When Bale comes into the starting XI

will Spurs have the best front three in European football. Golden Boot World Cup winner and seriously top goalscorer in Kane, Son, Asian player of the year, and already this season`s top scorer in the Prem, Son, and then you have one of the world greats, Gareth Bale, over 100 goals for historically the world`s top club.

Spurs will have some serious firepower there, and yesterday was just a taste of what is to come when it all comes right.

Happy days right now if you are a Spurs supporter.

I think with these signings you will certainly have closed the gap a bit on Everton and Leicester but they are still the better sides.

I bet it took you weeks to think that one up.

Evertonwhat a dic** head, clueless. What because they beat us ? Everton will be below 7th at best mark my words. They are still not as good as Spurs. Getting all giddy because Everton won their first 2 games.

And some of my fellow Spurs fans are getting giddy at winning one game against a woeful Southampton. I'm delighted, of course, but lets see what happens over the next few weeks.

If Bale clicks back into his old self then it will be a fantastic front three.

Not the best around, no, and possibly won't thrive under Jose, but it will certainly cause defences problems.

never encountered fans as deluded about the stature of their club, as spurs fans

have 2 spurs fans at work who are just like the posters on JA606....think Spurs are up there with Liverpool, Man U and the other super clubs in Europe

you're the 3rd biggest, most successful club in London ffs

get a grip

you're the English Real Betis (with a fancy new stadium)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As a Spurs fan you get this alot.

People hate and can't understand the size of the club despite the lack of success.

We are a bit like the Millwall of the Prem in that no one likes us and we don't care.

Don't think its going away either I live 60 miles away from the nearest Prem team so with no local allegancies its a good barometer as to whos hot and whos not. My 8 year old sons year group at school is all Liverpool and Spurs (not a City top in sight) and thats mainly down to Kane and Salah.

The next generation is coming along nicely.

Bale is next to finished now, 1 good game in 20.

On paper they are one of the best, but they won`t be gifted penalties and free kicks every time they fall over, or have the media bigging them up at every opportunity, which affect people`s perception.

You are just a big moaning drone aren't you? Wow. I bet you drain the life out of every person you meet.

I haven’t read all the previous comments so I’m probably repeating but Salah Mane Firminho is easily better - they’re established and have proven their effectiveness by winning the lot.

Neymar Mbappé Di Maria is better. Sure others are too.

We don’t know what Bale we’re getting. Also how often do both Kane and Son have good games at the same time?

On paper out front three could be incredible but a long way to go yet
