It looks like Scott McKenna is on his way down South, but is it to Forest?
This would go some way to explain how sog dhit Figs has been. Maybe he knows he's off. If he goes and McKenna becomes our tenth signing, we would have:
G - Samba / Diallo / Smith
LB - Ribiero / Ioannou
LCB - McKenna / Blackett
RCB - Worrall / Soh / Dawson
RB - Christie / Soh / Gabriel
RW - Lolley / Da Costa / Mighten
DM - Colback / Sow
CM - Arter / Yates / Bachirou
LW - ??Winger?? / Ameobi / Lolley
AM - Freeman / Carvalho / Silva (I)
FW - Grabban / Taylor / Guerrero / Da Costa
Note* Players appearing twice mean they can play in another position,
That is a 29 man squad if a winger also come in. Sabri said he wanted a squad of 23, plus 3 keepers, wiith a few from the youth team, so that just about makes sense.
That leaves players who shoud easily get a move (Adamoah, Figueirido, Jenkinson and Watson), players that need a loan as coming back from injury (Darikwa) and those we might as well terminate now (Benny, Bong, Clough and Hefele).
....if we could just pretend that those three players come in and that those nine players leave, would you be happy with that squad?
Note* This doesn't need an anti-SL twist. Just curious on how you'd rate the window if the above happened.

Good effort Morningchile but it is still too many for me. I would also want Dawson, Sow, Carvalho, and maybe Silva off the wage bill. Two in each outfield position would be plaenty for me. In an emergency draft someone in from the U23s.
It is possible to also say that Worrall and McKenna could be a dream pairing with equal justification. I.e. No justification at all.
