Just read a post from somebody that thinks Jose is past it and that the "Serial Winner" tag is a load of rubbish as the only place where he was not expected to win was Porto and he went on to win the CL.
If I am not mistaken he also went on to win the league that year and won the UEFA cup the year before.
Then he went to Chelsea and we all know how well he did there, with a lot of money at his disposal.
The part that I want to double click on is his time at Inter Milan. If I remember correctly at the time, Inter Milan were a team that had some quality players but were in the shadow of their rivals AC Milan. They were pulled into shape by Jose to win the treble after he signed some "make the difference" players. With the same squad Rafa Benitez failed miserably soon after.
So with this all in mind, how different do you think that the situation of Inter Milan is compared to our current situation at Spurs?

I've said all along that if there is a sustained period of good results and performances I would change my tune (i'd also change my moniker ).
One half of football is not enough, this needs to continue all season and result in a top 4 finish plus a trophy. Only then will I agree that Jose was a good appointment.
In the year he has been in charge, I can think of about 5 or 6 decent halves of football, and most of those were in his first few matches.
I have seen absolutely no progress in the way we play football from his first game until half time yesterday. I would love for that second half to be our turning point of Jose's reign, but I won't hold my breath.
People saying that we do not support Spurs are talking nonsense, as ever. We want what is best for our club. We now have a cracking squad which will still be added to before the transfer window finishes. I agree with the earlier poster that we have the third best squad in the league. My worry is that we have a manager who is not competent enough to get the best out of them. And I have seen signs in previous games that the players feel the same.

I’m not anti José - I’m anti awful lump ball footy.
Happy we won but found the game largely impossible to enjoy - the performance just wasn’t there.
The two are not mutually exclusive though - possible for the team to win and still not be happy.
Again, the players are media trained monkeys - it doesn’t matter what they are asked. They respond with the same bland answers. They don’t criticise the players, manager or club.
Amazed people still pay any interest in what is said - prompted or unprompted.
