These are the current rules in place.

Go to section 5 and it explains in rule 5.1.1 that it's only when a club has an insufficient number of players to play the game that it can then be called off and the opposing team given a bye. This is what Orient will be fighting. They might have a number of positives but they probably do have an eligible number of players to make a team. Therefore we cannot get the bye we're no doubt screaming for. If anything our fixture schedule could mean we forfeit the fixture and Orient advance.

That's interesting.
Though Jose has been brought to the club to bring trophies so can't see us forfeiting.
As you said before, this will mean postponing the Chelsea game, which will then affect their schedule.
This is gonna get messy

The Orient chairman was just interviewed and he made a fair point about them being punished when they have followed all protocols. A forfeit could discourage testing and then put more clubs at risk.

That's a very good point. Morecambe against Newcastle is going ahead without any test for the Morecambe players. They get the tv money by brushing any sniffles the players might have under the carpet.

No it don’t. Because neither us nor Orient could play this game before the next round of fixtures.
If anything they will just play this game on the next round of fixtures and then play the Barnsley/Chelsea at another point.
We cannot get punished for orient not being able to play the fixture

If I was levy I’d wouldn’t let a Newcastle player or staff into the stadium unless they’ve just been tested negative then.
Ridiculous for premier league clubs not to get lower league teams to test before playing. It’s jeopardising our whole league.

It's also not a full proof system anyway. Test results are sketchy at best if you've only just contracted the virus. Fresh ones aren't always picked up so given the Newcastle game is on Wednesday, any second test before Sunday would have to be done maybe Saturday to be certain that the results are accurate. Doesn't leave much time.

Ridiculous Newcastle are even playing without them getting the other team tested
