No Fans

I honestly can't see fans getting back into stadiums until next year, god knows what this will mean for smaller clubs in lower league's.

Plans to allow a controlled return of fans into stadiums on October 1 is set to be "paused" as the Government attempts to tackle a surge in Covid-19 cases.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson will unveil a range of new measures on Tuesday.

Plans for grounds to be up to a third full from October 1 were up for review but that is expected to be delayed due to the recent surge in cases.

I'm surprised that clubs have not thought up the idea of setting up streams of there games. Charge £20 a month for all games, I'd happily pay and they would at least make some profit.

They do that in Scotland for some games, the ones not covered by TV deals.

Got to wonder about the lower league games though, Harry with his digicam on the side lines and Bob doing the commentary.

I think all clubs should do it, I'm sick of paying stupid money for Sky games and BT Sports.
Don't care if there is no commentators, I'd happily want to hear the shouts from the halfway line and players screaming at each other.

I'm asking Sandy to send Levy a letter.

Dartford have 1000 fans allowed to attend tonight.
It is weird that at the same time they are preparing for another lockdown they are also starting to let fans back in. Seems pointless.

Almost like it's not been thought through properly

Lower league need fans to survive. PL can survive without and with more live games its more revenue

Which means any Spurs season ticket holder who renewed has lost their non refundable 20% deposit.

Levy wins again.

I have grave doubts as to when stadiums will open, I think certainly not this season, hence chose not to renew mine and be mugged off by Levy.

Didn't realise it was non-refundable.

I just assumed it was first payment to keep my seat.

Luckily, I paid for it using credit for the last few home games we couldn't attend.

but I guess I'm still £200 odd out of pocket. Didn't even get a welcome pack

Yep. Check your renewal invite small print ( actually it was not that small ) given what is going on with a possible second full lock down, it may be Levy will have to amend this. Other wise, to me, it is simple theft if fans don't get back into stadiums this season.

To be honest, although this was a big factor in letting the seat go, it was also the overall lack of ambition and the constant inability to win anything. Just feel Levy has taken the club too far down the corporate route, and what is going happening on the field seems much less important to him than making money from events etc.
I really hope I am wrong and a cup comes along, but with the money available to so called rivals these day, I am really not confident.

It's absolute boll0x us ST holders had to pay a penny. They know full well there's little to no chance of fans getting back to the stadiums this season. And even if they do, it's going to be a fraction of the capacity for 5-10 home games at the most.

I don`t think Prem clubs can moan about no fans being allowed back in, when they are all spending money like there is no tomorrow. They should have known there would be the possibility of no fans this season coming through the gate for revenue this season, so they should all have been a bit more frugal with their spending.
