Rashford

What struck me in his post-lockdown performances were his lack of dynamism. Rashford is always at his best when he's being a menace - constantly on the move, using his speed and stretching teams.

We saw a lot of him dropping in, slowing things down and looking off the pace during the restart period. He was occasionally playing some nice through-balls, in fairness.

Hopefully with a bit more time lapsed between now and his back injury, we'll see a more free-flowing and dynamic Rashford. I thought he looked a lot more lively yesterday evening, albeit against tired legs and a lower standard of opposition.

It would also help him if we had enough quality cover in the forward areas to be able to bring him out of the team more often. He's someone who is always willing to play, which is a great attribute for sure, but not realistically sustainable.

What is certain is that he is not the finished product he thinks he is

Can't wait for him to become this finished article then... 22 goals even with 2 months out with a back injury playing in an inconsistent team under a new manager.

I'm just enjoying seeing such players as him and Greeners putting in those type of numbers... great to see.

I didn’t say I hate them... I don’t believe any of them are anywhere near as good as some people would have us believe. Pogba has been a huge bust at United. Martial is unbelievable talented, but has an air of the Nani about him. Rashford, well I’d say he also has an air of the Nani about him; probably worse so than Martial.
