I wish I could get a cartoon on TV about them.
First it is only a mask if it covers your mouth and nose.
Secondly it is to stop you giving someone else the virus.
Noel Gallagher and others may think they are hard, or different or zany by never wearing one.
Well the real situation is this.
If you are eighteen or thirty and get the virus you may not even notice, or you may get a cough for two weeks.
I am seventy five with two heart ops behind me, if I get it's curtains. And there are millions in the same vulnerable category.
Now the students are back I have to be very careful where I go, and to watch where they are. And not just students plenty of oldies too.
I wear one, not really to stop my self giving it, but to be part of what should be a communal effort to stop the virus.
Of course all ja606 users are careful, but if you know somebody who is not, do us all a favour and give them a nudge about it.

China did have the one child policy for a while, India fair point, but kids are often relied upon to look after elderly later on, hence the big families

My biggest beef with those having multiple kids are the folk who just churn them out knowing they cant afford them thus burdening the state.

I don't think that excuses the huge numbers those two have. they account for about 33% of the worlds population. tbf the one rule in china shouldnt of been lifted.
Work with a lovely lady from india, her husbands parents really wanted a boy and it took 8 attempts to get there. That is insane, to me anyway.
