Why would Arteta shoot the rumour down? Atletico are still believe we don't have an alternative to Partey.

Well that’s what I was hoping he was trying to come off as saying. But on the flip side he could genuinely see Jorginho as an alternative

In hindsight, it was a bit of an insult to Milner coining that name.

Yeah you can really see the people who use twitter as their source of footy info on this forum. Jorgino moves ball quickly and if he can, forward. His weakness is lack of pace and ability to cover ground

I don’t use Twitter. I have eyes though 🤷‍♂️

Tbf, I think you’d probably find on Twitter sources that Jorginho was making the most(?) or among the most forward passes in the league at one stage.

He has his flaws, but I’ve never understood the criticism that he only passes backwards and sideways, the stats and eyes don’t back this up.
