A lot of decent performances tonight. Williams x 2 both struggled and Origi didn’t impress. Jones, Taki and Shaq the main positives.

williams x 2 were good in the first half with a dominant CB marshalling them, Then we lost that when the inexperienced Fabinho took over.

VVD exudes confidence.

Reece benefitted from VVD but Neco was caught out of position all night.

The mian thing to see is that the entire club is pushing the same way. players step in and the same game plan is evident. Same work and urgency.

There was an element on sloppiness in the second half but I think its nice for lincoln to get a little reward for not dropping the heads and trying to play the game.

we pressdvery well all over the park, there were some good performances from individuals yes but they all showed klopp they can step in and do the job in the same way.

My mian things to note:

shop window for shaqiri but as usual injured

Gruijic displayed a very nice game awareness as a no 6 and a range of passing. again it could be the shop window but he showed there is could understudy fabinho. watch this space for a transfer.

I am non plussed about neco williams. its not the work rate, its not the drive. thats all good. Its the fact he's entirely predictable and he doesn't aim that ball he just balloons it across. He's got a bit to go there, he has porgressed so rapidly to where he is that the next step might take time or not be possible. patience is going to be key.

Elliott. I just don't know tbh. he's got a lot of talent but the raw pace is not there. I'm not quite sure what the next step for this lad is but i am sure its not the odd cup game and the u23s. Has to go on loan.

reece williams was alight but its a classic liveprool u23, can make the passes but the game awareness isn't quite there. big shop window moment for him and a better loan surely is possible this season as a result.

Origi was poor enough but inevitably one or two chances would fall to him. he took one and thats "nice" not exactly a shop window game for this lad. (I'd struggle to pay 20mil on that game)

classic adrian game. loads of how the hell did he block that moments and a few semi gaffes thrown in. I still like him and think the atletico abuse is way out of proportion.

Roll and arsenal where i hope we play a weakened team again. not the same one because i hope we sell on 2 players but lets see if milner can step in. with jones and grujic.

I doubt matip will be fit so that'll be the main issue
