It’s a real, real concern that if we rotate our squad slightly, we can’t beat a couple of WiFi passwords comfortably.
How are we supposed to win the Europa League if we can only beat teams like last night by bringing on our big guns?! It really doesn’t bode well for the season.
Other than that, Dele has had loads of stick for his performance last night. He was average at best but the reaction has been slightly OTT, a 5/10 performance. I suppose people were expecting him to make a statement.
Winks on the other hand was shocking, he offers absolutely nothing and shouldn’t be anywhere near the first 11.

Our squad isn’t strong enough to compete in the PL, domestic cups and the dreaded Ebola League. Season derailment coming. Mou needs to play kids in Ebola.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs have a very big and strong squad now, arguably in the top three in the country. So absolutely no reason, they should not be competing on more than one front. They could field in all probability three different teams if needed.
No way is he going to play the kids in the Europa. That would be ridiculous. They wouldn`t have even made it past the first game.

Top 3, what a ridiculous statement

Another win. More misery from fans
You have to acknowledge that our schedule at the moment is crazy. There is clearly an element of balancing the need to work hard and be professional with keeping something in the tank and pacing ourselves through this period.
Last nught was a decent performance, where we missed chances which would have finished the game off a lot quicker, but it lacked an intensity which is 100% natural when playing some part time farmers in an empty stadium where it feels like a pre-season friendly or exhibition match.
We got the job done and were never in danger. A good number of positives. Cheer up!

Nobody can argue that we have definitely got a lot stronger since the restart. That form is proof of that. I just don't think certain supporters on here will ever warm to Mourinho unfortunately, unless he does the treble for us. Things are progressing slowly a lot better than they were last season that's for sure. We have 2 excellent new players coming in with Bale and Reguilon. Hopefully touch wood we are getting in this Skriniar to strengthen our defence and a back up striker. Mourinho is getting in quality and is making sure Levy isn't messing around.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would disagree with your point about winning the treble to win me over. I have seen very little progression in the year or so since he joined us.
What I want to see is simple. I want my team to create more opportunities than the team we play. That's it. I have accepted that we will have less possession in the majority of games because of the way we set ourselves up. But we still give teams so many chances. Luckily, Lloris has been fantastic since the restart, and who knows what would have happened if he didn't pull off that worldie from point blank last weekend. At the other end, in Son and Kane, we have two of the most clinical finishers in the game. This is enough to beat most of the teams in the prem. But whenever we have come up against anyone in the top 6, or in the CL, we have been completely dominated (including that win against City).
Apart from the second half against Southampton, we have been terrible this season, I would even say it's the worst football I have seen so far under Jose. I hope that half is the catalyst for things to come, but I do wonder how much of that win was down to Mourinho tactics. We shall see.
What I will commend him on is the signings we have made. I think he still has pulling power and we wouldn't have got them with Mourinho. We now have one of the best squads in the league. I also think his treatment of Alli was fully justified as he has been a passenger for way too long.
