After some very good link up play against Barnsley and looking pumped up and sharp, with ziyech and pulisic still injured do we go with tammy up top and werner out wide like he did against Liverpool. I think this would really allow havertz to kick on from his midweek performance too in behind the striker rather than on the right wing or playing up front.

Wasn't only just very good.
Tammy & Havertz had a telepathic connection on the pitch which looked like they had been playing for absolute years! (Dare I say, reminiscent of Didi & Frank).
That was Tammy's first start of the season and they hadn't even played together prior....beginning of something special

Against West Brom:
Caballero
James Christensen KZ/TS Chilwell
Kante Kovacic
Callum Havertz Werner
Tammy
Rest Mount for this one. Start him in the Carabao agsinst Spurs, three days later.
Fine line between fitness & fatigue.

Tammy had an excellent game and again shows this trait in his game/persona I like that he appears to work on his weaknesses. Him and Havertz were basically a strike partnership, in the way they interchanged.
It would be very unlikely to happen but while Pulisic is out and Lampard clearly not rating CHO I think something like this would in theory suit Havertz and Werner best;
Kovacic Kante Mount
Havertz
Tammy Werner

I think AC is suspended. I am sure I read that they changed the rule so that a PL suspension can't be implemented in a different competition.
I think Chelsea will go 4 2 3 1
James Silva Zouma Alonso
Kovacic Kante
Werner Havertz Mount

and Tammy in front.

Biggish
If Mount starts, jumbled mess settings with an emphasis on getting Werner/Havertz/Abraham forming a series of triangles (what I think Lamps will do)
If CHO starts, he sticks wide giving Havertz space playing CAM (what I'd do).

I just can't see Frank dropping Mount
