My BBC page says BHA-MU 2-2

at full time, so what happened? did they rewind back the clock and found a pen for United?

Honestly, I left the game when the BBC page said FT, 2-2.

And it says 90+7 Full time.

That doesn't full time mean FT anymore?

This is ridiculous if FT don't mean that anymore and what next?
Chalk off opposition goal if certain teams are losing?

Also, if this a right decision? I haven't watched the game - I was just looking at full time scores on the beeb.

I'd be concerned with them goals leaking at the back!

Whatever happened to Mr "Do you know who I am?"
So much money spent and yet only winning games on pen guys? Doesn't that worry you?

We all know we’ve been chit recently, don’t think anyone’s said we haven’t been. Still finished 3rd mind you...

Ok the offence occurred before the full time whistle, therefore it stands.

What I’m wondering about is this.. did the game kick off again or did the referee blow the full time whistle as soon as the pen was taken?

IFAB Law 2 also states: "If at the end of the half, the referee leaves the field of play to go to the referee review area (RRA) or to instruct the players to return to the field of play, this does not prevent a decision being changed for an incident which occurred before the end of the half."

There's an article on Sky Sports clarifying things now

So what if the keeper saved it, but was about to be turned in on the rebound?

My friend asked the same thing. According to a rule referenced in the article on Sky Sports, the penalty would be the final act of the game. So no rebounds etc

wow.. I don’t think that is wholly fair.

If it was awarded in normal time then the other team would have 30 seconds to try for an equaliser. Ok ... very unlikely, but it’s still a possibility.

My thoughts exactly. My thought was that you're basically rewinding back to the point of the initial incident, so the final whistle would only be blown once the attack was complete. Which is what refs always, including on this occasion, do
