If you look at the game, from the moment they introduced that big lump of wood, up front Andy Caroll, if looked carefully, you could see what was Newcastle and Steve Bruce's end game: call out any handballs loudly and at unison!
Steve knew his only way for his side to score, is to use the current moronic law about handball.
His team was determined to use it. In the end, enough shouting and Caroll & co, just aiming at defenders got them what they wanted.
This is the first time I have seen a team that used the new law well. There should have been one pen given against them but the ref waved play on and we didn't really shout for it enough,
Moral of the story: Don't worry about aiming at goal, aim at defenders and their hands, and collectively shout for handball and cry for handball at the ref!
Welcome to the new handball rule and a new way of playing the game!

var look at every incident regardless of shouting, the ref ignored the shouting for a start else he'd given it himself.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And yet VAR didn't look at the decision that led to the free kick in the first place. Or they did and ignored the right decision.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
VAR don't look at free kicks, unless there is a possible red card.

You need to get hold of yourself and abstain from calling names because it usually indicates a fault with yourself. It takes one to call someone else that?
Just because Steve played the system, doesn't necessarily he isn't against that system?
He knows that the same situation maybe payed out against his side so of course, now that he benefitted from it, with the only shot on goal, he will then come out and want the rule to be changed, makes sense!

And do we need to consult your "intelligence" before writing anything on here?
You don't have to:
1) Read the article
2) Comment on here
If you are so offended

Yes, that will be one effect of the new handball rule.
It could change the tactics of the game as it is played.
Attacking teams lob the ball into the opposing penalty area in hopes of hitting a defender's arm. In fact every attacker just aims at a defender. The goal is no longer a target and the keeper just stands there doing nothing.
Defenders will be wearing special belts which they handcuff their thumbs to, so as not to incur a hand ball.
Obviously this rule has got to change, otherwise it will change the game.
