The good, the bad, the ugly..

The good: Great shoot-out win, Reguilon's pace and enthusiasm

The bad: We still dont know how to dominate midfield possession, I'm convinced Jose doesnt believes in this. Primarily I blame our CBs. They set the tempo of our play and they dont release the ball quick enough. They dwell on it giving opposition time to close down all passing corridors and they end up hitting it long to no one.

The ugly: Sissoko's attempts to control a ball

I had to laugh at Fat Frank using tiredness as an excuse for not winning.

they dominated first half
we dominated second half

I really liked Lampard as a player but I don’t think he comes across well as a manager.

I don`t think Spurs went long at all, Couldn`t believe what Lampard said. Nearly all the second half football, was just decent well constructed moves. Not just lumping it forward like Lampard inferred. I think he had the hump, because Spurs basically outplayed his full strength Chelsea side second half.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It a mix if lumping a few balls and good passing/interchanging from what I saw. As I missed the first half, judgung by reports it was defo a game of two halves. COYS. Fecking love beating them fecking caaaants.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

First half they had lots of the ball, but created zilch other than the goal. In fact I think Spurs may have even had better chances.

Yup I heard that, he said Spurs had had two weeks longer to prepare. Tangana and Reguilon were both playing their first minutes of the season.

The amount of pundits and others saying that is astonishing. Spurs only had to go to Macedonia, Chelsea only had to go to Stamford Bridge.

You can see the pressure on him. He looked tired and stressed yesterday, looks like he needs a good nights sleep and thankfully we will have given him nightmares

I doubt Lampard will last until Christmas. Chelsea did not look very good last night, and when you consider they were 3-0 down to WBA at the weekend, it doesn`t bode well going forward.
