The Silva meddle

Rumours around today that Adrien Silva is in the process of agreeing a move to Claudio Ranieri's Sampdoria. Which you would hope would be a good move all around and enable him to revive his career just before it enters its autumn years.

However...

It seems that, despite Leicester City having apparently already agreed the sale, negotiations are ongoing between Silva and Sampdoria because of "the number of agents involved".
And that got me thinking: There was a delay getting him into Leicester City in the first place, trouble with getting all the necessary documentation resulting in the infamous "14 second late" registration costing him half a season and potentially a half-decent career here.

But if there are indeed multiple agents involved in his move to Sampdoria, and with it the implication that there are a number of people who own shares in the player who need to sign off any significant contractual event, maybe it wasn't either Sporting, Rudkin or the fax machine engineer who were at fault for the debacle? Maybe what we're actually seeing here is the player reaping what he sowed for allowing himself to be subject to multiple ownership?
