Wigan broke the rules and were punished. Wednesday broke the rules but weren't punished until dis season. If the letter of the law ad been applied both would now be in league one. So, why are Wed still in the Championship ? For me it's because Wigan are a football club in a rugby environment and Wed ave a long istory. Whatever the inconsistencies of the e.f.l. I ope we ammer Wed on Saturday. They should not ave been given a get out of jail free card.
