Europa Cup Draw

Thoughts:

Group H looks horrendous. Glad we avoided that.

We've missed all the teams we'd have wanted to avoid, so I think it has to be seen as a very favourable draw.

Prioritise the Europa League, and try to top the group. No point fighting like heck in the league just to get into next year's Europa League if we're not going to take it seriously once we're here. Plus, the better we do, the better our coefficient in the future...

And play in 3 other stadiums in Ukraine,

We beat Braga last year in the knockouts, quite a good side though but fancy Leicester to top that group.

Yeah, I don't think there was going to be an "easy" Pot 1 team, plus our recent history with Celtic could make that something of an unwanted grudge match. So out of the possibilities available I think Gent or Braga were the draws of choice.

There are no easy games in Europe really, buts that’s as a good a draw as we could have hoped for. I can see us slipping up, especially to Braga but hopefully we’ll quality and then anything can happen.

We’ll all going on a European tour/local lockdown tour.

I wanted a least one plum tie in the group stage, but got to be happy with the prospects of progressing against those teams.

You'll probably play in Odessa. That's where they played the last time they qualified.

Good point, always nice to get a bigger European team in case we go out early doors.
