‘Mourinho was wrong on Salah & could be with Alli’ – Spurs star would ‘rip it up’ at PSG, says Sherwood.
The former Tottenham boss believes the midfielder should be kept in north London as the Portuguese coach has made some questionable calls before.
Alli is still only 24 years of age, with it possible for consistency in terms of end product to be added to his game in time.
Mourinho appears to be running out of patience, having taken a similar approach with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne during his time at Chelsea.........

But I have to say I did not know Mourinho had let Kevin De Bruyne leave a club he was managing. WOW!! That was a first class managerial blunder! And Mo Salah?? Ouch!

I agree with you that with Salah no one (it very few) would have predicted his rise as opposed to Lukaku and KDB who had proven quality behind them when they were claiming a place at Chelsea. But Courtois was played by Jose

Courtois while on loan at Atletico played 3 of his best seasons and won La Liga, best keeper of the league and reached the CL final.
It was widely reported that Chelsea wanted him back after the first year to fight for a spot, but he didn't want to go back at that time so the damage was already done. Meanwhile Chelsea played Hilario (or was it Cudicini) as first goalkeeper...

Alli has been poor for a few seasons now, what has that got to do with Jose.
Also the comparison with Salah and KDB is just all wrong

Rejection can motivate the very best players. So in some ways KDB and Salah owe alot to King Jose as no doubt him rejecting them spurred them on to bigger and better things. King Jose does it again.

To be fair, if he deems Dele to be a poor trainer and he has been seeing that reflected in performances, then it's understandable he would want rid. If you aren't putting the effort in you aren't going to get far whether it's with us or PSG.
I don't know the situations with KDB and Salah. Chances are because they were younger they just hadn't developed their talents yet, rather than anything to do with their attitude.

Mourinho to De Bruyne was a motivation tactic that worked 15 years ago but doesn't work on the soft snowflake generation today. He wanted De Bruyne to work hard and prove himself, partially to prove Mourinho wrong, because he thought that would give De Bruyne a drive and mental steel that he wouldn't have otherwise.
Notice that after leaving Chelsea, De Bruyne didn't walk straight into an elite team. He joined Wolfsburg where he proved himself before then getting his move to elite team Man City. So he had to prove himself anyway, Mourinho just wanted him to do it at Chelsea.

Jose / CFC sold KDB and then won the league that season & the league cup. KDB went to a small European team.
Salah went on loan mid way through that successful season.
I think the big clubs who are under pressure to succeed rarely have the opportunity to develop youngsters. CFC have brought virtually no one through their system to first team since Terry, until their transfer ban forced their hands.
It is as much a CFC thing as a Jose thing and had Jose played their players who were still learning their trade then they probably would not have had that success.
Its not like these players went to European giants. They went to clubs where the pressure was much less and they were able to develop their games and shine

Ted, didn't Jose leave Chelsea in 2015? Salah left Chelsea in 2016. So what would Salah leaving have to do with Jose?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mourinho had sent him out on loan and stated that it would be better if he didn't come back. It was him who put the wheels in motion for Salah to be sold and who didn't give him much of a chance. He doesn't have the patience to develop players and improve them as he knows he will be moving on in a few years. It's what he's always done.
“I have five wingers, if I lose one maybe I am interested in another but at this moment I have balance and quality and numbers.”
“[But Salah,] I see his future elsewhere. Either on loan or sold with an offer we are happy to accept. We have five wingers and it is better not to have Salah back.”

Sandy....Fat Frank has something to say about this too............
Frank Lampard aims a dig at former boss Jose Mourinho for letting Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah leave Chelsea as he says world-class stars didn't get 'patience' from 'managers who didn't stick with them'
Enjoy....................

Well Fat Frank has it wrong as well. Don`t posters managers do research before posting something as a fact.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't think he has it wrong. He says Mourinho just didn't manage these players very well, in fact tended to ignore them.
Of course Mourinho has come out saying he was not responsible for Salah's sale....but doesn't say what he did to stop it!
I find it unbelievable that any manager worth a penny would not do his utmost to keep two such top top players in his club....no matter what.
Now we have Mourinho and Alli going on!
We should ALL stay tuned.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not much point trying to reason with Sandy on this, he’s currently in the ‘blindly defending my clubs manager’ stage, no matter what. He was like this with Poch, then suddenly flipped. Redress this next season and you’ll get a different response from him.

Yeah.... I know......but I try anyway
