Very big game today. Although there have been positives over the past week our return of 4 points from 3 games from those fixtures is very poor and today represents a great opportunity to make up for those lost points.
For me the intent we show today will go a long way in determining whether Jose can be successful long term with us. The Chelsea game mid week and the United game post lockdown were perfect examples of the good and the bad under Jose. In each game we had one half where we stuck 10 men behind the ball, were completely toothless and the opponent cruised. Whilst we had another half where we were on the front foot, looked dangerous and were the stronger team.
With Ndombele, Lo Celso and Reguillon now up and running there are no excuses to setup negatively. If we take the game to them then we have a great chance of picking up three points.

I don't like to feel sorry for Spurs but the fact you've also got a Manc referee in a game against a Manchester side is a joke.
Taylor shouldn't be anywhere near City or United games.

Possibility of us not signing any CB this window, but go back for Skriniar in January.
The only position we lack cover for is, the left side of CB, since Verts left.
Rudiger can play that - that's why he is being considered as an option.

Here we go again. Spurs fans making excuses for a loss at United.
Simply no. Jose has a squad now, apparently he is a born winner and tactical genius. I expect a win otherwise we are still no better than we were last year.

Recent form suggests we should at least not be losing this. No losses since the Everton game before we had our big signings through the door and I think a more recognisable first team. Anything other than the ref and VAR giving them a helping hand and I would find it hard to accept us losing this one.
No Son, but we've had recent good performances/form from most of our attack and midfield and Reguilon looks dangerous. Kane needs a good game against this lot. His record of 2 in 11 against United is pretty awful.

Guys all this talk of tactics is a waste of time. We all know the Referee will be the star of this game, with all the major decisions going Utd's way.
We have seen this consistently when playing at OT for more years than I can remember, and it will be exactly the same today.
Not being negative, just realistic.
